... but not as we know it.

In response to my occasional emails outlining events many of you responded with amazing and supportive comments.

• Laughed out loud quite a few times and really eased my Tuesday morning back at work. {Comment: Maybe we all need a more exciting job?}

• Awesome to read the update. Had a good laugh!

• Nice one. Funny, we were wondering what you were up to at the Christmas dinner last week.

• Exciting!! Give us a yell when you are going to be in Dunedin some time ... {Comment: Does that mean if I am in Dunedin it is going to be exciting?}

• Wow! Exciting times. And so many opportunities! I'm sure your adventures will continue and I look forward to hearing about them.

• You've got so many offers on the table!!! Look forward to seeing you in XXXXXX at XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX sometime. {Comment: Only if you fly to/from XXXXXXXXXXX. We still let people in from the XXXXXXXXXXXX. For the moment. But you will need a ticket.}

• How about checking out the GCSB security services as well - maybe they have a remote group who work on cyber crime??? {Comment: I did go looking. They promote their jobs as offering a work-life balance. Ie no taking the job home!}

• Thanks for the update, this made my morning.

• You sure are full of adventures and surprises. Great news on so many fronts. Could you please let us know when you are down in Dunners as it would be great to catch up. {Comment: I'm picking up a bit of a theme going on here?}

• Oh my goodness, I’ve already had a great day and you just made it better.... please start a blog or write a book.... I could read this forever!!!! {Comment: Yes - I have given up my day job!}

• What an interesting tale and keep your blog types emails coming. I find them really entertaining.

Thus I'm going to record things here instead. The aim though is a bit different. This will be blog-ish in style but the times will be sliced as I decide. So I might go back in time all of a sudden or skip to a political rant on the current state of whatever is occupying my brain-width.
